Terms & Conditions

The Hungarian version of these Terms & Conditions is the legally binding version. This English translation is provided for information only and may not reflect the latest changes.

1. Service provider

2. Scope of services

Engineer Portfolio operates a professional community and matching service for engineers and companies seeking engineering expertise. Services include: membership management, creation of professional profiles, introduction of members to potential projects, and related business community support.

3. Membership plans

• Silver Portfolio Membership: monthly recurring fee, includes a professional profile in the portfolio, access to project opportunities, and community events.
• Gold Portfolio Membership: monthly recurring fee, includes everything in Silver plus highlighted placement, priority project offers, and personal professional alignment.
• Project-based Portfolio: one-time profile creation fee, plus a 5% success fee on any project won through the service.

4. Application and eligibility

Membership is subject to an in-depth professional interview and verification of the data provided. The service provider reserves the right to reject applications that do not meet the professional standards or community values of Engineer Portfolio.

5. Payment and invoicing

Payments are processed through Stripe. Prices are shown in Hungarian Forints (HUF) and include VAT where applicable. Invoices are issued electronically after payment. The service provider may use a third-party payment processor and is not responsible for its technical failures.

6. Cancellation of monthly memberships

Silver and Gold memberships renew automatically every month until cancelled. Members can cancel anytime from their account page. Cancellation stops the next renewal; no refunds are provided for the current billing period unless required by law.

7. Project-based Portfolio success fee

When a project is won through a Portfolio introduction, the member pays a 5% success fee on the project value as agreed in the specific engagement. The service provider may assist in tracking the project origin but relies on the member's honest reporting.

8. Limitation of liability

The service provider acts as an introducer and does not guarantee the number, quality, or outcome of projects. The service provider is not a party to any contract between the member and a client. Liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim, except for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

9. Intellectual property and data

Members retain the intellectual property rights in their own content. By submitting profile data, members grant the service provider a licence to use it for matching, marketing, and portfolio presentation purposes. Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Hungarian courts.
